1. Placemats
Placemats will help you create a space that looks professionally decorated and they will add texture to your table! Place a dinner plate on top, followed by a salad plate and you will have a layered place setting that looks design worthy!
I love the texture of this placemat! It can also be used in the spring and summer!
Cream placemats are a great staple to have and will go with almost every tablescape you create in the future!
2. Napkins/Napkin Rings
Place a cloth napkins on top of your plate with a napkin ring for a formal thanksgiving meal.
This napkin is a bit pricier, but the linen material is timeless. You can buy them individually or in a 4 pack.
These white napkins are perfect if you’re trying to stay within budget (they come in a pack of 4 for only $10!), and if you want to purchase something you can use every holiday!
So obsessed with this embroidered turkey napkin!!! It comes in a pack of 4. If you want to do a mix/match look and will have more than 4 people at your table, I would also get these embroidered napkins that say “thankful.”
OKAY, these napkin rings are adorable!!!! The detail they add will complete your place settings!
3. Greenery/Florals
Place a garland going down the center of your table, and make it curve throughout the pumpkins!! Using garland will bring some foliage to your table, and it will add some fluff between the pumpkins! If you have a circle table, just wrap the greenery around in the center of the table to create somewhat of a circular placemat look that you can place your pumpkins on.
Eucalyptus is very trendy right now and can be used in multiple seasons including fall, spring, and summer!
This rust eucalyptus garland will bring all the fall feels to your table! It will look perfect surrounded by pumpkins! If this garland sold out, here is another great option that can be used in the fall and winter!
If you want to include yellow hues into your thanksgiving table setting, this goldenrod is a great choice.
4. Pumpkins
After placing your garland (make sure you curved it), it’s time to put all your pumpkins on the table! If you choose to do real pumpkins, get a variety of sizes and colors and place them around your garland. If you want to get artificial pumpkins that will last year after year, these ones below will do the trick! Make sure to get a variety of textures and sizes. Whether you choose to decorate with real or artificial pumpkins, make sure the table design looks full enough!
5. Candlesticks and Holders
Candlesticks are the perfect way to add warmth to your table. Place them throughout your pumpkins and garland. If you really want your table to feel professionally decorated, buy 2 or 3 packs!
Don’t want to keep spending money on candles every season? These LED taper candles look realistic and can be used all year!
If you want to keep your decor inexpensive, and enjoy real candles, then this taper set is a great idea!
6. Serving platters
Seasonal serving platters are a fun way to add some holiday spirit to your table!
How cute is this fall pumpkin serving platter? It’s not in your face “fall,” but still bring the fall feels.
The gold color of this fall leaf serving dish is so pretty!! You could put rolls in it and place it on your table, or use it for candy corn and leave it near the appetizer area!
7. Runners
Do you have a rectangular table? If so, a runner will add texture and uniformity to your table!
Optional:
Place Cards
Place cards are always a good idea if you don’t want your guests stressed about where they are sitting. These white place cards are inexpensive and can be used year-around. If you would like ones that are more festive to thanksgiving, these are so cute!
